Welcome to the homepage of the Canada Visa Application Centre in Jakarta, Indonesia. This site is designed to offer advice and guidance on the visa process and enable visa applicants to track the progress of their application online. The Canada Visa Application Centre’s services are designed to make the application process simple, accessible and hassle-free for our clients.

All relevant information pertaining to temporary visas is available on this site. Please read the information carefully to expedite the processing of your application.

For Prospective Applicants

Applicants who wish to apply for a Visa are requested to kindly read the information on this site carefully. The guidelines listed on this site are to help you prepare your documents as accurately as possible. This will reduce the chances of your application being incomplete or not being processed by the Canadian Embassy in Jakarta

Note: All applications will be assessed at the Embassy of Canada in Jakarta: After an applicant has lodged his/her application, Canada Visa Application Centre will forward the application to the Embassy of Canada in Jakarta, where the documents will be processed and a decision arrived at. After the stipulated turn around timings, the sealed decision with the accompanying return documents will then be returned to the Canada Visa Application centre ready for the applicant to collect them.
 
VISA APPLICATION PROCESS
Step 1 : Only temporary residence visa applications are accepted at the Canada Visa Application Centre. Permanent Residence Applications for Indonesia and Timor Leste citizens are processed at the Regional Immigration Office, Canadian High Commission in Singapore.
Step 2 : Before applying, please ensure you are very clear on your ‘purpose of visit’ – do remember we are here to assist and help you through the entire visa application process but are not permitted to advise or guide you on choosing a visa category. Since our work is primarily administrative in nature, we have no say in whether you will be granted a visa, and how much time it will took to process, as this is entirely the prerogative of the Canadian Embassy in Jakarta to decide upon.

Processing Charges

In addition to the visa fees, applicants are required to pay a non-refundable processing fee. It is payable per applicant, including children on parent's passports. An official receipt should be obtained for all payments made.
